way to cut corners is by letting
a friend or family member shoot
your wedding for you. If that friend
or family member is a professional
wedding photographer, great...
as long as they (and you) are
willing to have them work at
your wedding rather than join
you as a guest. If they are not a
professional, but someone who
has a nice camera and
'usually gets great pictures'
be aware: this is a recipe for
disaster! The worst that can happen
is that you end up with no wedding
photographs. Or, almost as bad,
you have only 'snapshots' which
won't do justice to your months

sure that you look your best, so that your wedding photos

Except for the 'formal events' which may need some
setting up, we generally work without interfering with you
at all. Repeatedly, couples have been amazed when they've
seen their photos, and told me
'I didn't even know you were there!'

We use up-to-date high end equipment, and carry backup
equipment just in case something unforeseen happens.
But, cameras are merely the tools we use; there's more to
photographing weddings than having good equipment.

and when... how to emphasize the beauty and grace
of the wedding ceremony... and how to capture all the fun
and sheer joy of celebration during your reception.
