Why use a professional photographer?

You've carefully chosen your wedding gown, so that you will look and feel stunningly beautiful. The bridesmaids' dresses, the tuxes, flowers, and reception details are carefully considered to make your wedding one to remember. Of course, you make sure your DJ (or band) will play great music so that your guests have a good time. .
Now it's time to choose a photographer...

While planning the budget for your wedding, you might think a good way to cut corners is by letting a friend or family member shoot your wedding for you. If that friend or family member is a professional wedding photographer, great... as long as they (and you) are willing to have them work at your wedding rather than join you as a guest. If they are not a professional, but someone who has a nice camera and 'usually gets great pictures' be aware: this is a recipe for disaster! The worst that can happen is that you end up with no wedding photographs. Or, almost as bad, you have only 'snapshots' which won't do justice to your months and months of careful planning. You dream of your wedding day and plan every last detail...
Plan to keep the memories of a lifetime for a lifetime, by hiring a professional.

. As a wedding photographer with over twenty-five years of experience, I am familiar with the events which make up your wedding day, and will help things flow smoothly. My assistant and I work as a team, quickly and efficiently, enabling you to truly enjoy yourself. We take care to make sure that you look your best, so that your wedding photos are truly beautiful and the best they can be! Except for the 'formal events' which may need some setting up, we generally work without interfering with you at all. Repeatedly, couples have been amazed when they've seen their photos, and told me 'I didn't even know you were there!' . We consider that a wonderful compliment.
We use up-to-date high end equipment, and carry backup equipment just in case something unforeseen happens. But, cameras are merely the tools we use; there's more to photographing weddings than having good equipment. Our years of experience have taught us where to be and when... how to emphasize the beauty and grace of the wedding ceremony... and how to capture all the fun and sheer joy of celebration during your reception. .
When you hire a professional photographer, you don't have to worry about things... I've got you covered!
